Back in September 2024, a question showed up on my TikTok feed and stopped me mid-scroll.

“If you could sit across from Jesus over a cup of coffee — what would you ask Him?”

I’ve been sitting with that question ever since. And when I got truly honest with myself — stripped away the church answers and the rehearsed responses — I realized the question I’d actually ask isn’t theological.

It’s personal.

“Lord… am I actually the man you made me to be?”

That question is the whole reason KJV Word & Light Threads exists. Not a business plan. Not a market opportunity. A conviction — deep and unshakeable — that there are men out there carrying that same question and not enough voices speaking directly to it. Boldly. Scripturally. Without apology.

So I built something.

We’re a small, faith-driven apparel brand based in Farmington, New Mexico. Founded by Paul Smith, KJV Word & Light Threads exists to put the light of God’s Word on every chest that will carry it. We operate with a big mission and a personal touch — every order matters to us because every customer is more than a transaction.

We design for the man who leads his family, provides without complaint, and isn’t ashamed to wear his faith where the world can see it. The man who asks the hard questions — and goes to the Word for the answers.
