America 250 Strong | 1776–2026 – KJV Faith Unisex T-Shirt
250 Years of Freedom — Worn in Faith
From the first stitches of a new nation's banner to the stars and stripes that fly today, America's flag has always been more than cloth and color — it is a covenant of courage, sacrifice, and providence.
The First Flag: A Nation Born in Faith
In 1776, as the Founding Fathers signed their names to the Declaration of Independence, they staked their lives on a bold belief — that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with unalienable rights. George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson were not merely statesmen; they were men who understood that the foundation of liberty was divine. It was in this spirit that Betsy Ross, a Philadelphia seamstress, is credited with sewing the first American flag in 1777 — thirteen stars in a circle, representing thirteen colonies united under one cause.
The Flag Evolves — So Does the Nation
As America grew, so did her flag. The Flag Act of 1818 established that a new star would be added for each new state admitted to the Union. From 15 stars to 20, from 20 to 34 during the Civil War, each addition marked a new chapter of expansion, struggle, and perseverance. The 48-star flag flew through two World Wars. And on July 4, 1960, the 50-star flag was raised for the first time — the flag we know today — after Hawaii became the 50th state.
The Flag That Flies Today
The current American flag has flown for over 65 years — the longest any version has served. It flew over the moon in 1969. It draped the coffins of heroes. It was raised in the rubble of September 11th. It flies today over schools, courthouses, and front porches across this great land — a symbol that freedom, though costly, endures.
America 250 Strong — 1776 to 2026
This design honors the 250th anniversary of American independence. Wear it as a reminder: One Nation, Under God.
