Back in September 2024, a question showed up on my TikTok feed and stopped me mid-scroll.
"If you could sit across from Jesus over a cup of coffee — what would you ask Him?"
I've been sitting with that question ever since. And when I got truly honest with myself — stripped away the church answers and the rehearsed responses — I realized the question I'd actually ask isn't theological.
It's personal.
"Lord… am I actually the man you made me to be?"
That question is the whole reason KJV Word & Light Threads exists. Not a business plan. Not a market opportunity. A conviction — deep and unshakeable — that there are men out there carrying that same question and not enough voices speaking directly to it. Boldly. Scripturally. Without apology.
So I built something.
Who We Are
We're a small, faith-driven apparel brand based in Farmington, New Mexico. Founded by Paul Smith, KJV Word & Light Threads exists to put the light of God's Word on every chest that will carry it. We operate with a big mission and a personal touch — every order matters to us because every customer is more than a transaction.
We design for the man who leads his family, provides without complaint, and isn't ashamed to wear his faith where the world can see it. The man who asks the hard questions — and goes to the Word for the answers.

About the Founder
My name is Paul Smith. I'm a husband, a man of faith, and a small business owner from Farmington, New Mexico. I didn't start this brand because I had it all figured out — I started it because I was asking the same questions the men I design for are asking.
I answer my own email. I stand behind every order. And I built this brand on one conviction: the Word of God is sufficient, and the man who wears it should be proud to carry it.
What We Believe
We're KJV-only. We believe the Word of God is authoritative, sufficient, and alive — and that it speaks directly to the man who will open it. Our designs don't soften scripture. They carry it.
We believe salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. We believe the King James Bible is the foundation every man needs to lead his family and his life. And we believe that faith worn boldly is faith lived boldly.
